獨協大学にいたる道

I did my first TOEIC class at 獨協大学 yesterday. The university is located in 松原団地, 埼玉. I live in 多摩市, so it's kind of a long way to get there. I have to change trains at 北千住, but the station is like a maze, or a 迷路 to me, so it'll be a while before I get used to the commute.

Yesterday, however, I did manage to arrive a little early, so I went to grab a coffee at the Cafe de Crie just outside the station（go (to) grab a coffeeは「コーヒーを飲みに・買いに行く」。現代英語ではcoffeeの前にa cup ofは不要です）.

The coffee shop wasn't so crowded, and I was able to relax before the class.

Then I walked toward the campus. Unfortunately, it was raining, so I couldn't take any pictures, but I can tell you it was a very pleasant walk. When you come out of the station, the first thing you see is 市立図書館, which seems like a nice building. Behind the library is a park, and then you see the university. My first impression of the campus was "green." There were lots of trees, and I imagined what it would be like during the 桜 season.

Again, it was raining, so I went straight to 天野貞祐記念館, where the class is held. I hope it'll be sunny next Thursday. I want to explore the campus a little. Also, instead of the Cafe de Crie, I want to try 学食 next week, if there's time.
